Legit in Canada, or only a verified Ontario match?
On August 10, 2026, we reopened the iGaming Ontario operator directory, whose listing was marked accurate as of August 6. It connected LeoVegas with TigerGen Limited and the outgoing domain www.leovegas.com. That is strong primary evidence that the matched service participates in Ontario's regulated market. It is not a Canada-wide licence statement, and it says nothing about a differently spelled host, another LeoVegas product or a player outside Ontario.
Our answer to the scam question is equally bounded: no primary source in this package records an official fraud or scam finding against this Ontario service. That absence does not certify every interaction as satisfactory. It means the responsible wording is a dated identity finding plus clearly labelled service gaps, not an accusation built from reviews and not an endorsement built from a directory row.
TigerGen operates in Ontario; MGM is the corporate owner
Two names belong in the record for different reasons. TigerGen Limited is the legal entity named beside LeoVegas in Ontario's directory. MGM Resorts International is supported as owner of the wider LeoVegas business by official MGM corporate material. MGM's ownership does not replace TigerGen on an Ontario account, and a corporate group reference should never be substituted for the entity shown in the applicable player terms.
A practical identity check starts with the live iGO directory, follows its route, compares the entire hostname and then checks the account terms for TigerGen Limited. The Ontario landing page opened at /en-ca-on during the audit, but no Ontario terms version or effective date was obtained. The only formal terms retrieved were rest-of-world Version 2.7 from February 2026, so we use them solely to document the gap, not as Ontario rules.

The dated Canada payment page names Interac, Interac e-transfer, Visa, Mastercard and MuchBetter. It describes Interac and e-transfer as deposit-only, while the Ontario page discusses CAD options. Availability can vary by account and method, so this list is not proof that every option appears in a particular Ontario cashier. We made no deposit and did not confirm limits, fees, payment ownership checks or acceptance for any reader.
For withdrawals, the Ontario page states a $4,000 Interac maximum and a $9,999 bank-transfer maximum, while official wording gives method-dependent timing and refers to verification.
