Capture the instruction
Save the cashier order ID, amount, recipient name, contact identifier, reference and timestamp. Do not publish the destination or reuse it for a later order. Interac advises verifying unexpected money requests or notifications through another channel and using the banking app directly.
Compare three identity points
Match the casino hostname, operator named in its terms and final bank recipient. A processor can be legitimate without matching the brand word for word, but support should explain the relationship in writing from the authenticated account.
Reject unsafe handoffs
Stop if the destination arrives only through Telegram, private messaging or an unsolicited email, or if somebody requests a bank password or one-time code. Open the bank app independently rather than through a message link.
Keep a decision note
Record who confirmed the recipient, the ticket, date and exact wording. If identity remains unresolved, do not send. A small test does not establish regulatory status and can still expose account ownership or create a disputed payment.
Questions and answers
Does a different recipient name prove a casino scam?
No, but it needs written verification because a processor name can differ from the brand.
Should an Interac destination be reused?
Use only the live authenticated order instructions; do not assume an old destination remains valid.
Does Interac availability prove the casino is regulated?
No. Payment-rail access and operator status are separate checks.
