Record the exact service
Save the hostname, legal company in the terms, contact address, product type and date. Similar names and mirror domains are not interchangeable. HTTPS protects the connection but does not verify the operator's regulatory status.
Check the correct jurisdiction
For Ontario, compare the operator and website with current AGCO and iGaming Ontario records. In other provinces, consult the relevant provincial authority and distinguish government-operated options from offshore services. Do not apply one province's status to all Canada.
Validate the licence claim
Open the authority's record independently and match company, domain, licence or registration number and status. A number belonging to another entity or a record that omits the active hostname does not complete the match.
Record uncertainty honestly
Write confirmed, conflicting and missing facts separately. Absence from a warning list is not approval, and a licence abroad does not establish Ontario registration. Pause before payment when the operator-domain relationship cannot be verified.
Questions and answers
Does a footer licence badge prove regulation?
No. Match the exact domain and operator to the authority's current record.
Is Ontario status valid across Canada?
No. Gambling oversight and lawful availability differ by province and product.
Does absence from a warning list prove safety?
No. It only means the service was not found in that particular list at the time checked.
