Complaint evidence
Ontario casino complaint: record facts without overstating the case
A clear record can help an operator or iGO understand a dispute, but a complaint itself is not a decision or proof of wrongdoing.

The guide reports verified programme or complaint processes. It does not promise an outcome or turn a complaint into a finding.
Confirm the exact site
Start with the current iGaming Ontario directory and identify the full hostname and operator. Do not assume a familiar casino name is a regulated Ontario site or that a complaint route applies to an unrelated domain.
Write a neutral timeline
List the date, account action, payment reference, game or promotion terms and the response requested. Separate what you saw from what you suspect. A neutral timeline is more useful than a label such as “scam” when the facts are still being assessed.
Use the operator process
iGaming Ontario says most disputes are resolved through the operator's formal process. Keep the original submission, acknowledgement, complete response and complaint number. Do not edit the original record without noting what changed.
Understand the published limits
iGO says it cannot resolve disputes involving unregulated operators and cannot directly settle bets, refund wagers or award compensation. Those limits are not a finding about your account; they define what the process can decide.
Protect sensitive information
Keep public posts free of player IDs, card data, passwords and identity documents. Provide only requested material through the official process and preserve secure originals.
Describe the outcome carefully
Use “complaint”, “response” or “decision” according to the document you actually have. Only a formal published outcome can be described as a regulator finding. This guide makes none.
